We need your help to support Pro-Life Legislation
On February 9, 2017 – two pieces of legislation will be voted on by the Colorado House Health, Insurance and Environment Committee
Please tell the members of this committee to VOTE YES for BOTH
- House Bill 1085 – Woman’s Health Protection Act.This bill would require:
- All abortion clinics to file an annual registration with the attorney general.
- The attorney general will have the right and duty to inspect any abortion clinic operating in the State of Colorado.
- Ensure that women are protected and cared for in a manner consistent with sound medical practice and procedures required at other medical facilities.
- Clinics meet the basic health and safety requirements that are already required of almost every other type of medical facility in the State performing any type of medical procedure.
- House Bill 1086 – Abortion Pill Reversal Information Act. This bill would require:
- That a woman is given information regarding the possibility of an abortion pill reversal so that she is fully informed and is given options to continue the pregnancy if she desires to do so.
- That the department of public health and environment publish a statement on its website regarding abortion pill reversal
- A woman’s doctor shall provide her with this information at least 24 hours before providing the abortion pill.
- It is imperative that every woman considering an abortion receives comprehensive information on abortion, including the potential to reverse the effects of abortion-inducing drugs should she change her mind.
Please contact the members of this committee and ask them to support both of these common sense bill to protect women and the unborn child.

SAMPLE LETTER TO SEND TO REPRESENTATIVE SEND BEFORE FEB 9th
Dear Members of the House Health, Insurance & Environment Committee.
We appreciate your efforts to keep this a healthy state.
Please consider voting to approve House Bill 1085, which requires cleanliness and accountability of all abortion facilities. It’s a Bill to protect the lives of the women who use these clinics. This is nothing more than what is expected of veterinary clinics. Not a lengthy or cumbersome list of requirements.
As you know, House Bill 1086 deals with the abortion pill. It gives the client a choice to reverse their decision. It has been proven to be safe to mother and unborn child.
Please vote “yes” to pass this Bill.
Thanks for being open to life!
Blessings to you and yours,
